However, there’s a big change this year, as customers can now digitally collect and store their property game pieces on the Monopoly website. The Property Game Pieces can be stuck to a board - available for free in restaurants - and collected in order to win prizes. There are three types of stickers to collect in the game - Online Game Pieces, Property Game Pieces and Instant Win Game Pieces. Once the game begins, two or three stickers will appear on the packaging of qualifying items, such as a Large Fries or Chicken Selects, throughout this six-week period. Participating McDonald's restaurants will be offering customers the chance to take part in the game from 21 March until 1 May. And it’s now a lot easier to play, thanks to an update to the sticker-collection process. Prizes this year include Mini Coopers, hotel stays, Now TV passes and cash. McDonald’s Monopoly competition has returned to the UK today and fans of the popular sticker-collecting game will be hoping to win big.
